In a bid to make it easier for Bengalureans to get tested for COVID-19, BBMP ( Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) has organized a free testing camp at 8th Main Hoysala Nagar, Ramamurthy Nagar , Bangalore 560 016 on 25th April 2021. About 71 residents got tested here.
BBMP free corona testing has been introduced with the low-income groups in mind. According to the BBMP Commissioner, people from low-income groups can’t afford to spend the prevailing charges. And the initiative is to help such families.
Testing facilities are set up at all the 141 the primary health centers spread across the city. These mobile units will travel across the city with a focus on containment zones and areas with a high concentration of primary and secondary contacts of known COVID-19 patients.
The North Zonal Conveners of ‘Neralu’ Sri Rajashekar, Sri Swadesh Ranjan Das etc were actively involved in organizing this event along with the General Secretary of Neralu Smt. Naga Jyothi.
