The Central Zone Committee of ‘Neralu’ -Ramamurthy Nagar Residence Welfare Trust- conducted this camp on Tuesday, April 20 at Kidzee Preschool campus at TC Palya Road near CVSR Homes (Off Hoysala Nagar) About 85 residents took vaccination in this camp.
NGO Working President Sri SK Nair inaugurated the camp in presence of the founder of the NGO Sri AV Shama Rao. General Secretary Smt Nagajyothi KS, Treasurer Dr. Keshava Kumar, Zonal Chairman Sri. Devaraj, Conveners Ms. Mangala Gowri, Ms. Prabha Ashok, Sri KK Pavithran, Sri TV Chandra Mohan, Sri Sunil, Sri. Prabhakar, Sri Madan (South Zone) were present.
The area of operation of the NGO 'Niralu' is from Margondanahalli to Banjarale and from Kalkeri to Vijanapura which includes Anandapura, Akshayanagar, Kowdanahalli, Margondanahally, NRI Layout, Kalkere, Banjara Layout, Horamavu, Hoysala Nagar, Vijanapura, Kasthuri Nagar east, ITI Colony, Ramamurthy Nagar.
During the recent Ugadi festivsal, ‘lunch with Obbattu’ was served to about two hundred needy families of the surrounding area with the financial support of many likeminded in this area.
On the occasion of the International Women’s day, this NGO organized a workshop for ladies in Skill development and self-employment awareness at ITI Vidyamandir School. About 30 stalls were there to display and sell the home made products of the residents.
