Flow of gratefulness to Kerala Samajam Bangalore

Kerala Samajam Bangalore started its first trip to Kerala on 9th may 2020 helping the stuck people from Kerala in Bangalore due to the lockdown. The abundant flow of messages of gratefulness from different parts of Kerala had increased the spirit and energy of the dedicated volunteers under the leadership of Sri. CP Radhakrishnan-President and Sri. Rejikumar-General Secretary. Many of the Whatsap voice messages of the poor and helpless ladies, students and aged has become viral, offering deep sense of gratitude to the organizers of Kerala Samajam for the arrangement of  transport facilities for them to reach home!   

Kerala Samajam the foremost socio cultural organization of city, managing various educational institutions and having its office at Indiranagar, has come out to help the people who had been here in Bangalore since many days without regular transport facilities to Kerala on account of the lockdown.

The first bus has been flagged off on 9th May by the President Sri CP Radhakrishnan in presence of the General Secretary Sri Rajikumar and other office bearers Sri.Jaijo Joseph, Sri. Linto Kurian, Zonal Chairman Sri. Shaji, Sri. Anil Kumar, Sri.Jayaprakash, Sri.Jose Vipin, Sri.Siriyak, and Sri.Subhash and many other volunteers.

They could send more than seventy five busses with passengers who were having official passes and documents issued by the government authorities. This buses were travelling through Walayar, Allappuzha, Kollam and even up to Thiruvananthapuram’ said Mr. Rejikumar.

 More than 2000 people have been reached home with the help of Kerala Samajam till today. The systematic and well-arranged travel desk  were organized by the dedicated volunteers like Jaijo Joseph, Linto Kurian, Jose Lowrance, Anish, Anil Kumar, Vinesh, Somaraj, Reghu, Basil, Biju and many more- a team of 25 members.

This transport facility of Kerala Samajam will continue till the normal transport services resumes, said Mr. Rejikumar, the General Secretary of Kerala Samajam.
