Kerala Samajam the most foremost socio cultural organization of Bangalore, managing various educational institutions and having its office at Indiranagar, has come out to help the people who had been here in Bangalore for more than one moth in due to the lockdown.
The first bus has been flagged off on 9th May by the President Sri CP Radhakrishnan in presence of the General Secretary Sri Rajikumar and other office bearers Sri.Jaijo Joseph, Sri. Linto Kurian, Zonal Chairman Sri. Shaji, Sri. Anil Kumar, Sri.Jayaprakash, Sri.Jose Vipin, Sri.Siriyak, and Sri.Subhash and many other volunteers.
The bus reached at Valayar Check post by 5 am today. Arrangements have been made at the local station to transport them to their houses maintaining all quarantine rules as per the state governments.
More than 500 people have been reached home with the help of Kerala Samajam till today.
